Legal notice, privacy and cookies
What this website stores, what it does not, and who operates it.
No legal text is invented here. Spanish law requires specific, accurate company information on a commercial website, and wrong information is worse than none. Everything below is a structure waiting for real values, and should be reviewed by a Spanish lawyer before publication.
Legal notice (aviso legal)
Spanish law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE) requires a commercial website to publish the identity of the business operating it.
Required for the legal notice.
- Registered company name, or the full name of the sole trader
- CIF or NIF
- Registered address
- Contact email and telephone
- Commercial register entry, if the business is a registered company
- Any tourism or vehicle-rental licence number the Comunidad Valenciana requires
Privacy policy
This site does not run analytics, does not set advertising cookies, and has no server-side form. Enquiries leave the site as a WhatsApp message, so the personal data a visitor types is processed by WhatsApp under its own terms and then by RoadStar once the message arrives.
The only data this website itself stores is the trip you are pricing. Your dates, delivery point, age band and name are kept in your own browser's session storage so the figures follow you between pages. They are never sent anywhere by the website, and they are erased when you close the tab.
Required for a complete GDPR privacy policy.
- Identity and contact details of the data controller
- How long enquiry and booking data is retained
- Whether data is shared with insurers, payment providers or the authorities
- The address for data subject requests: access, rectification, erasure, portability
- Confirmation of whether any analytics or advertising pixel will be added later. If so, a cookie consent banner becomes mandatory.
Cookies
This website sets no cookies and loads no third-party tracker. Fonts, images, stylesheets and scripts are all served from this domain.
Two exceptions are worth naming plainly. The contact page embeds a Google Maps frame, which is a third-party resource that may set cookies once it loads. Session storage is used for your trip details, as described above; it is not a cookie and is not shared.
Decide before launch.
- Keep the embedded Google Map and add a cookie consent banner, or replace the map with a static image linking out to Google Maps. The second option keeps the site free of consent requirements.
